To Milngavie Graham, Martyn and myself all travelled up to Mingavie from our Shropshire base in Graham’s car on the afternoon of 25th May. Phil on the other hand travelled separately from his home of Saltburn on the NE coast, and managed to arrive about an hour and a half ahead of us at about 5.30pm. This ‘spare time' of Phil’s – much of which was spent in Milngavie's Tesco store - would prove to be something that he would regret in the days to come……… This first night was spent at the Premier Travel Inn, which was a most pleasant hostelry. After getting settled in at the Premier, we headed off into the small town to enjoy our first night of this year’s adventure. We decided to eat Chinese and had a very enjoyable evening at the Charming Cuisine Restaurant.
